Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Hella Software LLC collects, uses, shares, and retains personal information when plumbing, drain, and home-service companies or franchisors visit pipe-daddy.com, request a demo, or use the Pipe Daddy operations platform at app.pipe-daddy.com.

Pipe Daddy is business software. This policy is written for the companies that evaluate or subscribe to it — owners, operators, dispatchers, technicians, and franchisor staff — not for homeowners or end customers of those companies.

Who we are

Pipe Daddy is owned and operated by Hella Software LLC, a Hella Ventures Company, organized in Arizona. When you create a Pipe Daddy account, Hella Software LLC is the provider of the software. Use of the platform is governed by our Terms of Service.

If your company stores information about its own customers in Pipe Daddy, your company is the business that decides how that information is used. We process it to operate the platform for you.

Data we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account and company data — names, work emails, phone numbers, job titles, company or franchise name, locations, seat counts, and billing contacts you or your administrator provide.
• Platform usage — sign-in events, feature use, device and browser information, IP address, and diagnostic logs generated while your team uses the software.
• Customer records you enter — job, dispatch, invoice, and related records your company stores in the platform. That information belongs to your company. We host and process it to provide the product.
• Sales and site inquiries — name, email, company, and message when you book a demo or contact us from this marketing site.
• Communications — email, in-app, and SMS messages sent or received through the platform or our support channels, including consent records when someone opts in to SMS.
• Site usage — page views, referrer, and similar analytics used to operate and improve pipe-daddy.com.

How we use it

We use this information to:

• Provide, secure, and support the Pipe Daddy platform for your company.
• Create and administer accounts, seats, and billing.
• Send operational email and SMS your company or its staff enable — for example login, dispatch, and job updates. See SMS Consent for messaging disclosures.
• Respond to demo requests and other sales or support inquiries.
• Maintain proof-of-consent records required by telemarketing law.
• Operate, secure, and improve Pipe Daddy and this website.
• Comply with legal obligations (tax records, subpoena response).

SMS opt-in data

We do not share or sell your SMS opt-in data, mobile information, or phone number with any third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number and SMS opt-in consent records are used solely to deliver the transactional messages described in our SMS Consent & Messaging Disclosures. Information you provide in connection with the SMS service will not be shared with or sold to any third party.

We share phone numbers with Twilio Inc., the regulated CPaaS provider that delivers SMS on our behalf, strictly as a sub-processor and only to send the messages the recipient consented to or that a customer company authorized for its own operations.

Sharing & sale

We share information only with the parties below, and only to operate the product and this site:

• Your company — administrators and authorized users can access the account, usage, and records stored in their Pipe Daddy workspace.
• Sub-processors operating the platform — Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments, including when a company connects its own Stripe account), Twilio (SMS), and Resend (email). Each is contractually bound to use personal information only to provide its service.
• Legal compliance — when required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not share SMS opt-in data or mobile phone numbers with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the platform, administer the account, and comply with legal obligations. SMS consent records are retained for the longer of (a) the period required by applicable telemarketing law, or (b) three years after opt-out, whichever is longer. Account administrators can request deletion using the contact below.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email accounts@hellaintel.com. We respond within 30 days. If you are an employee or contractor of a Pipe Daddy customer, we may route your request to that company when they control the record.

Security

We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+), encryption at rest, row-level access controls at the database, audit logging, and least-privilege access for staff. No system is perfectly secure; in the event of a breach affecting your personal information we will notify you and regulators as required by law.
